Vastu
Vastu Shastra is the Vedic science of designing and arranging space so that the five elements — earth, water, fire, air, and ether — flow in balance. It is less about superstition than about light, orientation, proportion, and the quiet way a well-ordered home settles the mind.
When a space is in harmony, so is the life lived inside it.
Vastu Shastra is among the oldest design traditions in the world — a body of knowledge that treats a building not as inert matter but as a living field of energy. Long before the language of architecture and ergonomics, the Vedic builders understood that the direction a room faces, the way light enters, and the placement of weight and water all shape how a space feels to live in.
At its foundation lie the Pancha Mahabhutas, the five great elements. A balanced space honours all five: the stability of earth, the flow of water, the warmth of fire, the movement of air, and the openness of ether. When these elements are arranged in their natural directions, a home or workplace supports clarity, rest, and prosperity rather than working against them.
A Vastu consultation reads your space the way an astrologer reads a chart — looking at orientation, the placement of key functions, and the subtle frictions you may feel without being able to name them. The aim is always practical: small, achievable adjustments that bring a room back into balance, almost never demolition.

Those Who Have Sat with Trayam
“As someone who designs spaces for a living, I was sceptical about Vastu. The corrections Praveen suggested were practical, achievable, and made the studio genuinely calmer to work in. No demolition, no drama.”
Rohan MehtaArchitect, Bengaluru “We rearranged our kitchen and the children's study after Praveen's visit. Small changes, but the house feels lighter and our mornings are far less chaotic. I have recommended him to the whole family.”
Sunita SharmaHomemaker, Jaipur “Praveen advised on the layout and entrance of our new restaurant before we signed the lease. Months in, the room simply works — footfall flows, the staff are at ease, and I credit a good part of it to that early consultation.”
